1. Who we are

Playlistd ("we," "us," "Playlistd") operates this website to connect independent artists with a network of independent playlist curators for the purpose of submitting music for review.

2. What this service is — and isn't

When you submit a track through Playlistd, you are paying for your track to be reviewed by a real curator — not for a guaranteed placement on any playlist. A curator listens to your submission and makes an independent decision to accept or decline it, with feedback either way.

We do not guarantee streams, followers, chart placement, or any specific outcome from a curator's acceptance. Even when a track is placed, visibility and playback are affected by many factors outside our control — playlist algorithm behavior, listener engagement, platform changes, timing, and the curator's own audience, among others. We vet the curators in our network for activity and legitimacy, but we cannot control or promise the performance of any individual playlist.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has given permission for you to submit music and make payments through this site.

4. Submissions and fees

Submission fees are paid at the time of submission via PayPal. Fees cover the cost of human review, not a guaranteed outcome. By submitting, you confirm that:

• You own the rights to the track, or have explicit permission from the rights holder to submit it for playlist consideration.
• The link you provide is accurate and leads to the correct track.
• The content does not contain hate speech, harassment, sexually explicit or graphic material, or anything else that violates the platform (e.g. Spotify) it's hosted on.

We reserve the right to decline any submission that violates the above, without a refund, if the violation is discovered before review.

5. Review window and credits

We aim to have every submission reviewed within 96 hours (4 days) of payment. If a curator has not responded within that window, you'll automatically receive a Playlistd credit equal to your submission fee. Full details are in our Refund & Credit Policy.

6. No accounts

Playlistd does not currently require you to create an account. Each submission is handled independently based on the information you provide at the time (name, email, and track details).

7. Third-party services

We rely on third-party services to operate — including Spotify (for track information), PayPal (for payment processing), and Google Sheets (for storing submission records). Your use of Playlistd is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable. We are not responsible for outages, errors, or policy changes on their end.

8. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your music. By submitting, you grant Playlistd and the reviewing curator a limited, non-exclusive license to stream and evaluate the submitted track for the sole purpose of the review — nothing more.

9. No warranties

This service is provided "as is." We make no promises about uninterrupted availability, specific curator response times beyond the 96-hour policy above, or any outcome from a submission.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Playlistd's liability for any claim related to this service is limited to the amount you paid for the submission in question.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use of Playlistd after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
